God I remember this like it was yesterday. In my bed, waiting for a phone call. A little after 3:30 am I finally get that phone call and I hear "It's a girl. She had a girl" from my mother. That baby girl is my niece. I remember being at the hospital every single day, looking over her; still couldn't phantom the idea that I have a nieceEver since that day this little girl has been putting a smile on my face. Her eyes and smile brightens up my day; A gift from god. I look at her and all my problems go away (I know how lame that sounds but there is truth to that) Pure. Innocents is what she gives off, making me realize that everything I thought that was important actually wasn't at all. This little girl is important and right now she is the only thing that matters to me in this world. I can never see myself acting towards her the way my aunts acts towards us. She is my sister's daughter and I love her to death.
Today she made 1! I can't believe it has been a year already. It's scary how fast the time goes by. This is why we must cherish every moment of it. And I'm learning how to.
But anyway happy birthday Nyla. I love you so much baby girl and believe me when I say this I will always love you! You're my heart!
